Everyone's welcome

Accessibility

Mac's Transport is built to be easy to use for everyone — including older neighbors, people with disabilities, and their families.

Need help? A real person is happy to assist.

You never have to use this website to get help from Mac's. Call or text and Mac's can take your request over the phone.

Our commitment

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, and we treat accessibility as an ongoing effort rather than a one-time checkbox.

What we've built in

  • Large, readable text and strong color contrast
  • Clear, visible labels on every form field, with helpful hints and plain error messages
  • Full keyboard operation, with a visible focus outline and a skip-to-content link
  • Big touch targets (at least 48px) and generous spacing, comfortable on phones
  • Meaningful headings and landmarks so screen readers can navigate easily
  • Respect for “reduce motion” settings — animations turn off automatically
  • A layout that stays usable when text is enlarged or zoomed to 200%
  • A mobile action bar that moves out of the way while you're typing
